Who Are We Becoming?

Everyday we are being transformed from one degree to another. Everyday, for the better or for the worst, we are reflecting the choices that we make, through the conversations that we have, through the acts of generosity that we participate in or don't participate in. The truth is that today I am not the same person that I was yesterday. I may not recognise the change, but change has happen and to one degree or another my heart has enlarged or has decreased since yesterday. This is holy transformation.

Holy transformation is not as fast as we would like it to be (It certainly doesn't happen as quick as the Hulk' does). It happens over decades...it will continue even to happen throughout the eons of eternity. Trying to witness holy transformation might be like trying to witness the growth of a tree, the change is so slow that it is usually unrecognisable.

A Celtic reflection :
Each of us has the potential to become a son of God, an heir to all that is His, for each of us male and female, in everyplace, has been made in His image, with chance to choose Him.

Only after we have yielded to Him can we reflect the face of Christ.

What kind of stones will Holy Island offer on his return? (Holy Island can be translated our world)

When I the Lord shall come
to gather jewels for my diadem
shall I find stones, resistant, hard and rough?
or gems prepared and radiant with My glory?
And shall the offering of My people in my holy place
be pleasant unto Me, the Lord your God?
as in the days of old,
and as in former years:
a place of peace,
a dwelling-place for man and God?

So hearken unto Me
and follow Me with all your heart.
